February Wrap-Up and March TBR

As usual, another month has flown by without us realizing! I can’t believe we’re moving on to March. Lately time does feel to fly so fast!

February is another busy month for me. It’s like a day without test is a day wasted for my school, so obviously we’ve been having exams EVERYDAY. It has been going on since mid-January and I’m sure it will continue until April a.k.a my national exams. Give me a break.

The problem is, with that many test, I still haven’t been able to pass my math and physics tests. And I’ve only passed the chemistry tests once. It’s just horrible. I’m officially terrified for national exams.

But the good news is, this month isn’t as busy as last month. The last two weeks are for practical exams, so I could lay back a little and read A LOT of books!

Books I Read

  1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K Rowling ✰✰.5
  2. Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven DNF
  3. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer ✰✰✰.5

Books I Want to Read

I won’t set my goals really high this month, because I know it will also be a month full of exams and school work. 2 months left until I graduate! And since March is technically my last real month at school, I just want to borrow a lot of books from the library while I still can…

  1. Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll
  2. Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini
  3. The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

Favorites This Month

  • This month, I unexpectedly join a new fandom. This is such a bad timing with all the exams, but I can’t help it! I actually fell for Big Bang. For those of you who doesn’t know, Big Band is South Korean group that is really, really famous. But their songs are actually amazing! Plus they really put efforts with their song, all the energy and coreography. THEY’RE JUST AMAZING GUYS.
  • Happy Chinese New Year guys! I received a lot of hongbao (red envelope) and ate lots of delicious Chinese food. YUM.
  • Hymn for the Weekend by Coldplay is my jam this month! I just love the chill vibe it gives, and the video is super amazing.
  • I WATCHED PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. Not the zombies one, the original one. I know it’s from 2005, and I wanted to watched it for Valentine’s day, but my internet was down so I watched it just yesterday. And oh God. I forget how much I love the book and this movie just reignite my love for it. I immediately googled everything about the Regency Era, and I put Chatsworth house as my must-visit location in the UK. And now I’m in the mood to read everything Jane Austen related.
  • LEO WON THE OSCARS GUYS. He’s been waiting for so long and now he finally gets it!<3 I'm so happy for him!

Book Review: Still Star-Crossed by Melinda Taub

    Still Star-Crossed
    by Melinda Taub
    E-book edition, 352 pages
    Published: July 9th, 2013
    Publisher: Delacorte Press

Soon to be an ABC TV show by producer Shonda Rhimes! Still Star-Crossed follows the aftermath of the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet, as mysterious figures in Verona are determined to reignite the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets.
In fair Verona, enemies still walk the streets.
Two news hearts. Same two families.
The fight to the altar is about to happen.
    All. Over. Again.
This homage to the classic Shakespearean tale of Romeo and Juliet will have readers pining for a star-crossed love of their very own.

This book has been on my tbr list for so long. I never read Romeo & Juliet, nor I ever have watch the movie. But I know how the story goes, I mean who doesn’t? So I’m so excited to read a somehow another version about the most famous love story ever.
First, don’t be fooled. This is not Romeo and Juliet. They both fell for each other on first sight. Rosaline and Benvolio despises each other. They aren’t in love, and there’s nothing star-crossed about this romance.
Prince Escalus has a great idea of uniting House of Montague and Capulet to stop the feud, by marrying Rosaline and Benvolio together. They hated each other, and they aren’t star-crossed. The prince and the families actually give them their blessings. But there’s a series of murders that killing both Montague and Capulet, and making them at each other neck. Rosaline and Benvolio work together to solve the murder, and they eventually fall in love. And when things cool down, after everything is done, they live happily ever after.
That’s basically the summary of the book, in a paragraph. So where’s the starcrossed part? The angst? The desperation? This is no Romeo and Juliet. They aren’t starcrossed. It was enjoyable, but it was too predictable. I could predict how it would happened from the first few chapters. All the characters are so reserved and stiff, and I think it’s understandable since they just experienced a blood bath (Romeo & Juliet’s event). But.. I couldn’t feel any connection with them. I kind of understand them, but they sort of out of my grasp. I could break the characters like this:

    • Rosaline hates the feud and want nothing to do with it. She hates both Capulets and Montague, and that’s why she refused Romeo. She wants the best for her sister, Livia, and then off to the quiet life of nunnery.
    • Benvolio is grieving with Romeo and Mercutio’s death, but I don’t think he has any hatred toward the Capulets. He’s just tired with the feud.
    • Prince Escalus is cunning and cares a lot about Verona. He puts Verona first, then his personal life.
    • Livia is a bit childish and impulsive.
    • Paris… well I think he’s in so much grief he has mad idea and fall to quickly for Livia.

The setting is in Verona, and I love how vivid the description is. It’s like you travel back through time and walking the streets of Verona. It uses Shakespeare’s writing style, thy thou and stuff, and I found some difficulties with them, but after a while they’re okay. And, it isn’t written in verse like the actual play, so don’t worry it isn’t that hard to read!

Overall, it was a great book. I feel kind of cheated because it was nothing like Romeo and Juliet, there is nothing star-crossed about Rosaline and Benvolio. But the plot and the characters are enjoyable, even though the characters are one-dimensional.

The heart wants what it wants… and sometimes it wants something bad.

When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all.

Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan’s romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they’re forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they’ll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks.

I seemed to missed the memo that this is a NA book, because this book took me by surprise, in a bad way. The cover looks YA to me, and the summary said acting school so I was expecting some flashback for some good old highschool romance, but no. That’s not what I got.
What I got are 2 very dysfunctional main characters I can’t even read about them. Cassie Taylor supposed to be a good girl from some countryside, but the moment she met Ethan Taylor, all she could think about is how to fuck Ethan and how big his dick is. And how she’s a virgin.

Most nights I touch myself, pretending the hands aren’t mine as I search for the crashing pleasure I keep reading about in Harlequin romance novels and Cosmo.

At first I was embarrased ad I watched extreme close-ups of male and female genitalia thrusting against each other, but that embarrasment was quickly replaced by facination. Horny, aroused fascination.

I have to get away from him, because if I don’t, I swear to the tiny, sweet-smelling baby Jesus, I’m going knock him to the ground and straddle him.

It feels like I’m reading a porn instead of NA novel.
Ethan Holt supposed to be the brooding-dark-bad-boy-with-inner-demons but all I see is a rude and a jerk. I don’t care what his reasons his, he’s so rude. The way he talks to everyone (includes Cassie), the way he acts. He even told Cassie to give him a hand job in the middle of the school, right after he read Cassie’s extremely perverted diary.
The worse thing is, Cassie allowed Ethan to walk all over her. Evertime they got together, or do something, Ethan would push her away and insult her. But Cassie would take him back because they feel this connection or attraction and because obviously, Ethan’s dick.

What the hell do you want from me Taylor? Huh? Do you want me to fuck you? Or are you just looking for some random cock to pop your cherry?

Even Ethan is exparated by the way Cassie keeps shoving herself at him.

And the plot got repetitive after a while. Cassie shoves herself at Ethan, fantasizes about him, they do something, Ethan turned into more of a jerk, Ethan pushes her away, saying they’re bad for each other, Cassie got hurt, but she’ll take him back.

    One picture to summarize it:

"Halt and Catch Fire" Season 1 Recap

In the midst of all the tests and homework I had to do for school, I managed to finished the 1st season of Halt and Catch Fire! It took me long enough though, around a week, considering it only has 10 episodes.

For those of you who don’t know anything about this show, or never heard anything about it, this show sets in the 1980s, in Texas, during the personal computer revolution. IBM already made a debut of personal computer, and now they’re competing in the personal computer market.

What draw me to this show initially is Lee Pace. We all know Thranduil is fabulous, and I can’t wait to see more of Lee Pace. But the plot itself isn’t dissapointing, I really enjoyed it! I know nothing about the history of personal computer, but watching this show give me atleast an idea how personal computer was born. Even though it’s basically fictional, it also features real famous historical PC like the IBM Personal Computer and Macintosh 128 K.

Joe Macmillan is… I don’t know how to describe him. He’s really complex. He’s ambitious, and would do anything to get what he wants. He would create crisis just to get publicity. But he’s really smart and know how to get his way. He is emotionally distant, and I’m surprised to find him actually in love with Cameron. I still don’t understand his goals coming to Cardiff in the first place, and doing everything he does. He’s deeplu affected with a certain past event, thus making him distant with his parents. Lee Pace does a great job in potraying this characters. Charismatic, a bit sociopath and definitely complex.

Cameron Howe is a rebellious teenage girl with an attitude. She’s really good with software coding, she’s a prodigy, but she has no interest in creating a machine. From the beginning, we see her playing games at the arcade and created a game. She wants a machine to interact with, instead of dull, fast machine Joe envisioned about. I actually understand Cameron decision at the end of decision, if I were her I would feel hurt too. She’s amazing with computer, but not-so amazing in her relationship with other human being. Her relationship with Joe is more like have-sex-when-I-need-you, and sometimes she doesn’t take her job seriously. But at the end of the season, she warmed up to the others and more coorperative. Mackenzie Davis really fits this part, and she plays it well.

At the beginning of the season, we see Gordon Clark as this depressed, lost all his will to live, just -going-through-the-motion-life-needed-to-feed-his-family sales engineer. He built a computer once, but it failed, and so he just work to feed his family and he’s miserable. He can’t afford to let his family down again. But by the end of season he could stand up for himself, make his own decision, and just really passionate about the things he do. He’s the one who get Joe and Cameron back on track when they almost given up. He might seems soft at times, but he’s actually pretty driven. Scoot McNairy does a really great job capturing Gordon’s transition and his feelings.

The plot has so many drama, but they’re totally relevant to the plot. It’s all about competing with other company and how to built a better machine. Of course, it also have drama about life, like Gordon strained relationship with his wife, Donna. But it also strained because of the computer. The character development is just amazing. Joe becomes more human, Cameron more mature, and Gordon takes his life into his own hands.

Overall it was a really good season and I can’t wait to start season 2 (after all the exams of course!). The acting is amazing, the plot is addictive, and of course, Lee Pace. If you haven’t see this show, you totally should give it a go!

I See It, I Ship It: The Ultimate OTP List

I know, I know. OTP stands for One True Pairing. One. But come on. After reading all those books, watching those tv shows and movies, how could you ship only 1 couple?? It’s impossible. My heart is big enough for all of them, and I have enough tears to shed for all of them. I’m not a big romance person, but I can’t help shipping characters with each other. Shipping comes naturally, it’s like a bonus while you’re reading. I enjoy shipping with all my ice-cold heart, even when those ships broke my heart and just sink. They make me happy. They make me sad. All those things that make them my favorite OTPs. So let’s jump on the ship and sail with me!

    Book OTPs

The story: Percy met Annabeth in the first book, The Lightning Thief. She stayed with him when he was out after fighting the Minotaur, and she went with him to retrieve the master bolt. After the quest, they just got closer and went on multiple quest together, and they just bound to happen you know?
Why: Umm… shipping them kind of come naturally when you’re reading PJO/HOO? I know some people ship Percy/Calypso and Luke/Annabeth, but personally I think with Calypso it was part of Calypso charm, and while Percy was there he kept thinking about Annabeth. And as for Luke, I think it was nothing more than siblings love. I mean, Percy turned down immortality, held up the sky, and literally fell to Tartarus all for Annabeth. Annabeth searched for Percy, also turned down immortality, and always there for Percy. Do you need any proof for their love?

Typical date: Hmm I think they would go to the beach or CHB lake. There, Annabeth would sit and design something, while Percy swim. And then Percy would get up and pull Annabeth in and they swim and of course, underwater kisses. Finish with picnic with all the blue food.

The story: They both first met when Alec came to Magnus party with the others, in CoB, searching for Jocelyn. And then Magnus just kept involved with the Shadowhunters bussiness and they just got closer.

Why: It’s unique. First, this is the first lgbt romance in a book that I ever read. Second, even in the Shadowhunter world, gay is unacceptable, let alone a shadowhunter that fell in love with a downworlder. Third, they’re so freaking adorable! They’re like polar opposite, Magnus is all out, and Alec is shy and more serious.

Typical date: Personally, I always imagined them chilling in the Institute or Magnus apartment, Magnus sharing his experience while Alec listen to him. Or at party, Magnus being Magnus and Alec just can’t stop looking at him, being shy and pay attention to all he does. Finish the day/night by cuddling and kissing, lots of kissing.

The story: We don’t know exactly when they meet, but it was absolutely during their Hogwarts years. They absolutely despise each other, but as Sirius says, as James become more modest, they eventually went on a date.

Why: I’m always fascinated with the Marauders Era. Imagine, young James, wicked Sirius, happy Remus, and little Peter wrecking havoc in Hogwarts. Plus they started out as enemies, imagine all the cheeky banter that happened!

Typical date: Hogsmeade, drinking butterbeer. Sitting by the lake, James lying on Lily’s lap. Or late night, sneaking kisses in the Common Room so other Gryffindors don’t know they’re dating because they’re just too ashamed to confess. (better stop now before my imagination runs wild)

The story: This is not canon. But I find something romantic in they way they hate each other, the way Draco silently protect and defend Hermione.

Why: They’re star-crossed lovers. Slytherin and Gryffindor. Mudblood and Pure-blood. A Golden Trio and a death eater. All the angst. All the sneaking around in Hogwarts years.

Typical date: Sneaking around late at night around Hogwarts. Meeting up secretly at the Astronomy Tower. Hogsmeade.

The story: The Darkling first met Alina when he saved Mal and her power is known. He made advances on her, and she responded. But when she knew his actual plan, she escaped from the Little Palace. And ever since then, it’s becoming a game of cat and mouse.

Why: They’re both similar. Their power is the exact opposite of each other. And as much the Darkling controls Alina, I believe he actually really loves her and wants her to rule beside him. Alina might be his saving grace, the one who could bring back his humanity. The Darkling has been lonely for so long, burdened with great power ever since his birth, so I think it makes perfect sense for him to want Alina. He actually opens himself to her, like telling her his real name. He must have seen something in her. And I’m sorry for all Malina shippers out there, but the fact that Mal realized she loved Alina after he lose her keeps bothering me.

Typical date: Wandering around little palace. Hot kisses by the lake. (That rhymes!)

    TV Show OTPs

The story: In the tv show, Damon arrives to looked for Stefan, and of course, also fall in love with Elena. They started as enemies, but they warmed up to each other and being the sexiest pair alive (or dead, because Damon is a vampire and such). I really like the season 2 finale, like damnnnn! I cried for them.

Why: Damon is a complex characters. He’s both good and bad. And he’s protective with Elena, but not that protective. Sometimes he lets her do reckless thing, and even defend herself. He could accept her dark side. And as much as Elena hates Damon for his morally ambiguos nature, we can see that she’s also intrigued with him. I think the moment I realize I ship them is at season 1, during the Miss Mystic Falls pageant where Damon replaces Stefan as Elena’s escort. IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL.

And also when Elena became a vampire and just got sick and hides in the bathroom, Damon is the one that is ready for her, always there, bringing her clothes and blood.

Typical date: Drinking at the Mystic Grill, getting drunk, sucking people’s blood, and have a hot make out session afterwards.

The story: Dean sold his soul to save Sammy at the end of S02, and he’s dragged to hell at S03 finale. At the beginning of S04, he was raised by an Angel named Castiel, who claimed God has plan for him. Castiel is a bit flat and completely know nothing about the human world. He’s like typical angel, mostly can’t feel compassion for human. But his time with the Winchesters make him more human, he questions his orders and even tries to become God. He and the Winchesters got each other’s back.

Why: Umm it’s super adorable watching Dean and Castiel’s interaction, like Dean would make reference and Castiel won’t get it, and how Castiel naive-ness could make Dean smile even in his darkest moment. Plus can’t you see the tension??

Typical date: Going into a diner, Dean orders pie and Cas is kind of confused what to order, so he keeps staring at Dean dumbfounded, and Dean has to explain each menus to Cas that the waiter got pissed. Or they could just watch tv, since Cas is just discovering the amazing world of Netflix.

The Story: John just came back from war, and he needed a place to stay. He met Sherlock, who needed a roomate, so John moved in with him. Turns out Sherlock is a detective and so began John misadventures with Sherlock.

Why: WATCH THE TV SHOW GUYS. I’m sorry, but it’s not something I could explain. Actually I’m torn between Sheriarty and Johnlock. But S02?? Guys??

Typical date: Sherlock running around investigating cases, putting himself in danger, while John running around catching up with Sherlock and being his cranky himself.

    Honorable Mention:

Steferine, Stydia, Klaroline, Merthur and  Frary.

That’s it guys! Writing this post is so unhealthy for me, I never knew one post could give me so many feels! Imagining those typical dates, looking for pictures… ALL THE FEELS!

    The OTP Book Tag

I’m a huge shipper. I have so many otps I don’t think they should be called otp because there should be only ONE, right??? But no, I have so many otp. It’s like shipping is a natural part of reading. I always could find at least an otp in each book I read. So when I saw this tag at Sarah @ Kerosene Lit blog, I knew I have to join it! The original tag is from youtube, click here to watch the video.

#1 Pick an Unpopular OTP That You Ship

Mars Ultor and The Witch of Endor. If you read Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott, you’ll know this couple. Both of them are elders (sort of God) from like 10.000 years ago. But Mars Ultor is so much older than that, and he’s kind of go mad, so the Witch curse him that his aura would harden and burn him, kind of lava. And then 10.000 years later when the world need him, The Witch freed him and his sanity kind of returned and they actually still love each other, after everything. They even promise to catch-up after the battle is done. But they never had the chance.

#2 Pick an OTP That You Didn’t Ship at First But Now You Do

Jily (James and Lily Potter) definitely fits this category. I didn’t gave them much thought about them while I’m reading HP, but after the series end and I’m in desperate need to come back to the wizarding world, I’m looking for some fanfictions. I always love the marauders. So I was looking fanfics that set in their era and sure enough there are Jily everywhere, and that’s how it’s started. Go search for Aaron Taylor Johnson and Karen Gillan as Jily and you see what I mean.

#3 Pick Your Most Hated OTP

Adam-Juliette-Warner. Those 3 are triangle of hell. Juliette can’t make the decision, she keeps hanging them both. And both Adam and Warner can’t respct Juliette. They pursue her and don’t give her room to think and reflect and just basically alone to figure stuffs out.

#4 Pick an OTP That Took WAY Too Long to Get Together

Rosie and Alex from Love, Rosie. It took them literally a lifetime. 50+ years. The book is kinda frustrating (but cute tho) BUT THE MOVIES. ALL THE FEELS. Plus Lily and Sam does looks good together so… I SHIP IT.

#5 Pick Your Favourite Non-Canon OTP

Dramonie (Draco and Hermione). I can’t get enough of them. I mean, the whole forbidden romance between a Slytherin and Gryffindor? A death eater and a golden trio? A mudblood and pure blood? Imagine all the angst. Imagine they meet secretly during their school year and how frustrated they’re both in the 6th and 7th year. Imagine how Draco must felt seeing Hermione bleed all over his living room. I just can’t. WHY JKR WHY

    #6 Pick Your favourite BROTP

Heronstairs (Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs). I’M CRYING OKAY? THIS IS MY BROTP. When I’m reading The Infernal Devices I focused more on them than on their romance. This is what Parabatai should’ve been. They would give each other their lives without any second thought. I MEAN HAVE YOU READ CLOCKWORK PRINCESS??? *cries*

#7 Pick an OTP You Adored in the Books But Not as Much in the Movie or TV Adaptation

Clace. CoB and CoA Clace is awesome. They’re so sweet and care with each other. The rest of the series… well let’s not discuss it. I actually like Jamily as Clace. But I don’t like Dominic and Kat as Clace. I can’t feel their chemistry.

#8 Pick a Popular OTP That No Matter How Hard You Tried You Just Can’t Ship It

I’m sorry guys, but I just can’t ship Romione(Ron and Hermione). I just can’t. For years they’ve been best friends, Hermione handled the things and Ron and Harry went through to the motions. Hermione is a strong, smart and independent woman. I’m not saying that Ron isn’t a hero, but I don’t think he would challenge her. He will support her, love her, cuddle her, and just try his best, but he won’t challenge her. And I’m used to seeing them as bestfriends so…

#9 Pick Your Favourite LGBT+ OTP

Malec (Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood) One word: Adorable. How someone, a Shadowhunter, could make a High Warlock of Brooklyn fall helplessly in love with him?? I love love love them with all my heart and soul.
And now I’m crying because I would never see Godfrey and and Kevin Zegers do that specific Malec scene in CoA.

#10 Pick Your All Time Favourite OTP

Okay wow this is a hard one, I can’t choose! For my all time canon OTP, it’s gotta be Percabeth (Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase). For non-canon, well, it’s Dramione! For LGBT book couple, it’s Malec, for tv show, one and only Destiel. I just can’t choose! 😄

    Who is your OTP?

    Review Anthology #1

Sometimes I’m just not in the mood to write long reviews, or I don’t really have much to say. Thus I ended up not writing anything about that book. Today I would compiled the books I haven’t reviewed, for whatever reason that is, into a mini reviews!

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma || Goodreads

I was so excited to read this book. I mean it’s about incest! It’s such a taboo to speak of, yet Tabitha Suzuma writes a book about it. And so many people say how heartbreaking this is. But I had other expectations is. I was hoping that this book would discuss, or at least try to find a way to break this taboo, a way for Lochan and Maia to be together. A way for people to be okay with their relationship.
This book didn’t dissapoint in feels. It was full of angst and heart-breaking. I can understand why Maia and Lochan fall in love with each other, and their frustration about their situation. And that ending? That was a killer. But it didn’t fulfill my expectations. They didn’t try to find a way out. All they think throughout this book is how they could sleep together. How much they want each other. But they didn’t do anything to try to solve their situation.
If you’re looking for a heart-breaking and doomed-romance book, this book is for you. But if you want a book that isn’t about how the main couple wanting each other so badly, I suggest you skip this book.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins || Goodreads

Okay wow! I get what was all the hype about. This book is absolutely cute and fluffy! I ship Etienne and Anna! The characters also felt real. Friendships don’t last forever, everyone has their own problem, being together with the wrong guy, clinging to someone that’s not into you, betrayed by your bestfriend, homesick, etc. And it sets in Paris! I just want to go there and visit all the places they visited. Etienne isn’t the perfect love interest. He has problems and he does some mistakes, but his flaws make him even more real.

Highly recommended if you want a cute contemporary.

Love, Rosie by Cecilia Ahern || Goodreads

I love this kind of book. Alex and Rosie are best friends since they were kids and they were meant to be together. They know it, their family knows it, we know it. But fate seems to not get the message. Things keep coming between them. I love how they finally get to be together, even it took them 50+ years, after trials and errors and lifetime knowing each other. It’s just so sweet. I’d love to have this kind of romance. This book isn’t that serious and sad, I mean it does has its depressing moments but overall it was a funny and entertaining and sweet book. Plus the movie is so adorable! I can feel the chemistry between Lily Collins and Sam Claflin. They should do another movie together!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer || Goodreads

After seeing this book literally everywhere, and hearing everyone raving about this, I finally give this book a go! I have to admit, Cinder is such an enjoyable read. It was predictable, but I love all the twist Marissa Meyer created in this book. I never expected Cyborg-Cinderella! She’s so creative. And Prince Kai *swoons* And I have to admit, Levana is actually scary. And generally the Lunar People, since we don’t know much about them. But unfortunately, the setting doesn’t feels like Beijing enough for me. Other than the people’s names, the settings don’t really describe Beijing for me. Definitely going to read the next book!

    January Wrap-Up and February TBR

January started out pretty badly for me. I read my most anticipated release of 2015, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell and it’s just so dissapointing I feel mad. But that’s the only dissapointing book I read this month though. I read 9 books in total this month. That’s a lot I know, but I just want to read as much book as possible before school started and took all my life force away.

    Books I Read

    1. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell ✰✰.5

Things are going down really fast this month in my life. This year is my final year at school, but last term none of us give any serious thoughts about that. But this term? Well, at the beginning of this month we started to submit our college applications. And we also have 3 back-to-back mock test for our finals. Things are going down for real. I don’t really have many books on my February TBR, and if I do, it’s mostly novellas, so it will be a quick read between weekdays.

    Books I Want To Read

    1. The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
    2. Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them by J.K Rowling
    3. Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven
    4. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover
    5. Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini

    • Sherlock Premiere!!! Yass finally! You can see my reaction here. It’s absolutely fantastic!
    • Roses by The Chainsmokers. I listened this back in November/December last year, but this month this song really stuck in my head!
    • The Feeling by Justin Bieber. GUYS ITS AWESOME. Especially the reff part because it sounds like fetus JB but it’s actually Halsey. I can’t even.
    • Also, I’ve started watching Halt and Catch Fire. It’s a tv series on AMC that starred Lee Pace. It’s about the computer revolution, and it’s really interesting since I’ve known nothing about computer, even though I used it a lot. And did I mention Lee Pace already??
