Mystery Blogger Award // Texting, Fanfictions, and My Favorite Posts

Time for a tag! Thank you to shadowriverdaleharley and Justine @ Milkzbookshelf. I’ve seen this tag floating around on my feed lately and since I’m tagged, I might as well do it now instead of later 😁 I also currently haven’t been reading any books that I could review and I’m running out of post idea, so this tag came at the perfect timing!

The Rules 📝

  1. Put the award logo on your blog.
  2. Thank whoever nominated you and include a link to their blog.
  3. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link to their blog as well. (Maggie @okoto enigmas blog)
  4. Tell your readers three things about yourself.
  5. Nominate 10-20 people.
  6. Notify your nominees.
  7. Ask your nominees any five questions of your choice, specifying one weird/funny question.
  8. Share a link to your best post(s).

Three Things About Myself 🌿

  1. I love reading fanfictions. When I am in a reading slump, I just look for some of my favorite fanfiction prompts and my slump will disappear! I still won’t be able to read a book since I am to engrossed in reading fanfics, but at least I’m reading 😁 Some of my favorite fandoms to read are Harry Potter, MCU, and Star Wars.
  2. I have this habit during texting, where I ALWAYS use emoji, “haha”, or add extra letters at the end of every sentence (yess, noo, whyy?, etc)- either one of the three. I think it makes me (and people in general) more friendly, and I hate it when my friends don’t do the same thing when texting me. I guess I carry the habit with me when I’m commenting in posts, since I always use emoji or exclamation mark to end every sentence, if you notice 🙈 Which is why it’s always easy for my friends to guess when I’m mad at them because I would text in normal ways (aka shorter) and with a lot of periods 🙈
  3. I really want to have a dog, but I don’t think I can have it anytime soon. I love its constant companion, but at the same time I can’t imagine how hard its death would hit me 😭 If I ever decided to have one though, I want a corgi or beagle.

Questions from shadowriverdaleharley

01. Do you watch Thirteen Reasons Why?

Nope. I’ve read the book though. I heard it’s pretty graphic so I avoided it, but then I haven’t been watching western shows in a while sooo…

02. Thirteen Reasons why, Riverdale, shadowhunters, supernatural or  all three?

Really, I was normal until I found this show. My non-Christian friend once asked me about why Lucifer was cast down from heaven and I legit told her the plot from Supernatural, complete with Castiel and the tablet.

03. Who is your favorite singer/band?

My taste of music is VERY diverse, depending on my mood. I love all genres of music so there’s that. I’m currently loving Back to You by Selena Gomez and an unreleased soundtrack from my current K-drama I’m watching, Are You Human?

04. Do you like to write or not?

Um honestly? I don’t know. I guess I do, because I enjoy blogging but I don’t write my stories or anything special. I guess I’m the only person in the blogosphere that doesn’t aspire to be an author? *hides* I love writing my own fanfiction (which I never published), if that counts 😄

05. How do you like to organize your bookshelf (by color, alphabetize by title or author, publisher, genre or random?

I always want to organize my bookshelf by colors, but I’m that type of person that get agitated if my series are not together… So I always arrange my books by series and authors.

Questions from Justine

01. How did you get into book blogging?

It all started with goodreads. I always love reading so finding a whole community of readers felt like heaven to me. But it still felt like social media and not felt truly mine and as the result, I created my own little corner of internet, a safe space for me to write down my thoughts and opinion on books 💛

02. What genre of music do you listen to the most?

As I said, my taste of music is very diverse. I’m currently listening to a lot of kpop and country songs, so there’s that.

03. If you could never read a book genre again what would it be?

Erotica.

04. What’s your favorite scent?

I’m always drawn to fresh scent instead of sweet ones. I always bought something with citrus or ocean scent whenever I’m buying perfume or candles. I recently bought The Body Shop’s Peach perfume, as well as Bath and Body Works’ Fresh Sparkling Snow candle, if that gives you an idea 😁

05.  What came first, the chicken or the egg?

The egg! I’m just too lazy to think of the explanation in english ahaha 😅

I See It, I Ship It: The Ultimate OTP List

Bringing this post back from 2016, this is my all-time favorite post I’ve ever written. This list is about my “ultimate OTP’s” from books and TV shows. I tell about their stories, why do I ship them, and how I imagined their typical dates go. I wrote it when this blog is still on blogger, so the comment formatting is a bit weird now, but the content is okay and still my favorite to re-read from time to time.

Fantastic Pets and Where to Find Them

This post was written in 2016, in honor of Fantastic Beast movie release. Many fictional characters have an animal companion as their sidekicks, yet we barely paid them attention. This post served as an appreciation post towards them, and I might make a part 2 in honor of the second Fantastic Beast movie!

The Thanks U Give: To All the Characters I’ve Ever Loved Before

2016 seems like the year where my creative juice is flowing. In celebration of Halloween, Mishma {Chasing Faerytales} and Hazel {Stay Bookish} hosted a blogging event to say thank you to bloggers, authors, and fictional characters. For my stop, I chose to say thank yous for all the fictional characters that taught me something and everything. From protagonist to villains, whether I like the character or not, there is always something I learn from the characters and I thank them for that.

And there you have it, thank you so much for reading this until the end! Do you have any texting habit? What is your favorite music genre and singer?
