Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I last do a tag and I have so many backlogs, so I figure why not write one for today’s post.
When I saw this post on my bookmark, I knew this is a perfect tag to do considering how 2020 really messed up with my memory. The lack of daily structure really got to me, I blinked and it’s suddenly September! 😅😶 As I mentioned, I had so many backlogs, I was actually tagged by shadowriverdaleharley waaay back in 2018 🙈
1. Name a book written by an author called Michael
THE ALCHEMYST by Michael Scott! He’s the author of Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, which is highly recommended if you love mythology and want a series with no romance 😉
2. Name a book with a dragon on the cover
THE PRIORY OF THE ORANGE TREE by Samantha Shannon. It’s one of my favorite dragon cover because look at how epic it is!
3. Name a book about a character called George
I couldn’t think of any except for a certain George Weasley. It seems like George is not a popular character name for YA? 🤔
4. Name a book written by an author with the surname Smith
Hmm… the only one I could think of is THE AWAKENING by L.J Smith
5. Name a book set in Australia
I… couldn’t think of any. I know that SUMMER SKIN by Kirsty Eagar is an Australian NA so I think it’s set there?
(A quick google search showed that I’m right! 🎉)
6. Name a book with the name of a month in the title
I haven’t read this book yet, but THE TEN THOUSAND DOORS OF JANUARY by Alix E. Harrow is the first one I remembered.
7. Name a book with a knife on the cover
KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO by Patrick Ness. I hate it yes, maybe that’s why it’s the one I remember the most and I couldn’t think of other books 🙃
8. Name a book with the word ‘one’ in the title
One by Sarah Crossan. Again, I haven’t read this one so I don’t know why this is the first book I remembered…
9. Name a book with a eponymous title
I didn’t really getting the meaning of this question, google tells me it means “an eponymous hero or heroine is the character in a play or book whose name is the title of that play or book“. Is it correct?
10. Name a book turned into a movie
PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Jane Austen 🥺🥺🥺 My comfort movie and my favorite adaptation ever, there’s no way I’m not using it as an answer!
