Books Under the Tree Tag πŸŽ„

Hello everyone! It’s officially the holiday season here, so Merry christmas to those of you who celebrate and happy holidays for those of you who doesn’t! πŸŽ‰

End of year is honestly my favorite time of the year. Starting from Halloween, you can start smelling the excitement and festivities in the air! From the creepy, all-out decorations of the Halloween, the warmth of Thanksgiving gathering, Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sale, and finally, people putting up their decorations to celebrate Christmas and New Year. It’s just never ending fun from October to January and I’m living for it! Plus, the weather tends to cool down here too- we’ve been having a lot of rain and gloomy skies perfect for sleeping in for the past few weeks 🌧

Since today is christmas, I figure it’s the perfect time to post some christmas tag and what a better one than this one! I was tagged by Caro @ Book Cheshire Cat and have been saving it for this exact moment ever since. Let’s get started!

1. What book would you like to find under the tree this year?

Strangely, this year, I did not have any books on my wishlist. Instead, I want some perfumes and instax printer πŸ˜‚ Maybe because I don’t have the space anymore? I’m thinking of getting a kindle though so I’m going to put that as my answer.

2. What is the best book you have ever received for Christmas?

My True Love Gave to Me and Let It Snow. I received both books on one Christmas and I really enjoyed both of them! I always go back rereading a couple chapters of both books during the holiday season.

3./4. What book gives you all the Christmas feels & puts you in the Christmas spirit?

Hmmm, I couldn’t remember any. I guess all books I’ve read that have the holiday season as its setting tend to bring the Christmas cheer for me, but honestly movies are much more effective.

5. What book have you read this year that you would like to throw out with the Christmas tree after the holidays?

I don’t think I’ve read any books I truly hate and would throw out this year πŸ˜‚ I was just looking at my goodreads wrap up and my average rating is quite high this year! Maybe Ruthless Gods? It’s not that I will throw it away, but it was a frustrating reading experience that there were times I want to throw my phone while reading 😑

6. What is a book from this year that you would like to place under a friend’s tree?

53534476. sx318

I read The Tea Dragon Tapestry this year and I absolutely loved it πŸ’– Granted, I love all the books in the series as they are just so comforting and pure. I would love to gift them to my friends, it’s a lovely cheer-up book!

7. Challenge: create a stack of books in which the spines alternate green and red! Share the titles.

I’m in the process of cleaning up my space now so my books are in such a mess that I don’t want to touch them πŸ˜‚ So in return, please enjoy this festive gif!

8. The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Who do you tag?

It’s been a while since I tag people, but I tag:

πŸŽ„ Lais @ The Bookish Skies

πŸŽ„ Sabrina and Veronika @ Wordy and Whimsical

πŸŽ„ Lila @ The Hardcover Haven

  2. i am so mad i was so late to this post i ended up not getting around to the tag before christmas! but thanks for tagging me, nonetheless.

it’s so sweet you got two christmas-themed books for christmas as well! i have not read many holiday stories, but i did love my true love gave to me. i remember it was everywhere on book tube when it first came out and i was so happy to finally buy it.

i didn’t have any books on my wishlist this december either, but i do have an instax printer and i really hope you did get it! it’s so much more convenient than taking the actual camera around. also, if you have a journal/planner something like that, it’s absolutely adorable to print different things in the instax style.

hope you had a great christmas, tasya!
